Why change an app that was efficient and gave me the info I needed right away? Hourly weather? Good luck finding that. Id rather take my own pictures of weather phenomena. I hate this change.

Fantastic app

This used to be the best ad-free weather app. Now its complete garbage. What a shame- it lost its best features- easy navigation, clear, concise details on future weather.

Do not like the format at all anymore looking to find another weather app

This one Stinks

Well, the new flagship app UX -- that is replacing TWC max is really bad -- scroll, tap, scroll, scroll some more. Used to be easy to see everything you needed quickly. And, the update cheats purchasers out of ad-free experience by offering it only for one year.

Totally ruined a awesome app !!! It wasnt broken so why did you think it needed fixing ??? ZERO STARS !!!

Before this app was easy to use. Now everything is jumbled together. Hate, hate, hate this app. They say change is good but in this case it is not. Either a new update will come soon or this app will be deleted permanently! I was a user for years!

Why force users to scroll through videos about missing teens, weather disasters, or people trapped in the rubble of earthquakes just to see the extended forecast?

I dont think that all these bad reviews are making a difference. I really hate that we have to scroll through videos and scary headlines just to get to radar. Does anyone have any other apps they been using?

I only used this app for the radar. Now, thats buried halfway down the page. Instead of being weather, this is a news and social media app. I cant believe how cluttered the main page is. This is just an extension of their equally awful non-weather oriented website. Im using something else. The Weather Channel isnt about weather forecasts anymore; just another media outlet that does a poor job at that along with the weather.

Had it for years. Have a lot of weather apps and I use this one over Andover and over.

Its pretty sad when they take an app that people paid for and then discontinue support for it. New version not nearly as good. You have to scroll for the most important things that should be on screen when you open the app(like the weatherbug app)thanks for the year of no adds but the app will become annoying once they return. Weather Channel.....you blew it!!

I dont know what this new thing is with apps and tech with their intended improvements actually ruining functionality, but the weatherMax app is no exception to this new rule.

Well, I did it. I just accidentally clicked to upgrade this app. Despite my best intentions, given the universal panning this update has received. 1) not optimized for my tasks: I want quick access to the extended forecasts. Largely because, in the previous versions, these gave me an exposition in addition to the stats. "Showers in the morning, followed by..." Super helpful, much more so than the needlessly detailed but not prominent hourly, is now buried or I think even eliminated altogether. Second main task: radar, now deeply buried. 2) Shrinky dink: the important ui gestures are now miniaturized. Eg in radar the play button is tiny! The ... which opaquely hides the past/future toggle leads to also tiny selector buttons. 3) frameless hell: please discontinue this maniacal reductionism. Frames actually help sometimes. The page sections blend together into a muddled mess.

This app has finally caught up with the rest of TWCs awful products. Advertisements, "news" stories, and click bait now dominate. The new interface is simultaneously unintuitive and uninformative. I had a good ride for the TWC Max app that I purchased years ago, but its over. The new flagship app (for which previous Max owners get a 1-year, free subscription) is a big miss, and Ive deleted it–and the original Max app–from my phone. Avoid!

I paid for a different app and you have ruined it! Disappointed with update. Have the regular weather app also. Truly enjoyed the max app until you destroyed it

I paid for the ap, then it was discontinued, replace by this ad-ridden trash! Terrible. Wheres my refund? This was a crime.

I loved the old weather app this new version gives temperature but little else. I want the current weather, forecast and a radar view of the weather in the area. That is the ideal app. This has gone from my favorite to on I am about to delete.
