The Weather Channel Max App Reviews

I use weather apps every day and its important for my job. The radar was one of the best, I dont know what will happen over the next few month now that they dont support.

This new app is awful. If I could rate zero stars I would. I purchased the Max version and it was wonderful. This is not user friendly at all and I will not recommend to anyone. Please reconsider and figure out a way to get the old one supported again.

Map consistently shows data over am hour old, never seems to be current anymore. When I first purchased, over a year ago, the map was "current" or close to it. I dont know what has changed, but I expect it to show the most current data. A lag of 10-15 minutes at most would seem acceptable, 5-10 minutes is what I would expect. But 60 minutes or more lag on the map is simply unacceptable. The "future" map animation has rarely if ever shown me anything other than the same "past" animation. Given that this was the main reason I decided to purchased paid version of app, it is nothing but a disappointment. And now the map itself is so far down on the page, its simply easier to use a different map app to get any useful weather detail. Stick with free version if you use this at all...

No sure why they had to change what was a really good app, probably so youd see more video links, which Im sure involves making more money. Wish I never updated and still had the old version. It had concise and pertinent information right where it was super fast and easy to see.

Worst weather app out there and on top of that you pay for this app and the weather channel doesnt support it anymore but they want you to pay for another add free app! Sounds like I ripped the hell off thanks the weather channel and the App Store!! Thats just like stealing my money! Oh yeah by far the worst radar on any weather app Ive ever seen

It still makes me angry every time I open my now "not-supported" PAID app! The upgrade has made it less useful and to think they would yank support from a PURCHASED app?! Bad choice, Weather Channel! Maybe Weather Bug is the way to go. Ill be downloading that to check it out. Booooo, Weather Channel!

New app format difficult to use , why would radar weather follow the little videos, radar also is past conditions not future , we mostly know what just happened, we would like to see whats coming. The background pictures are totally unnecessary and distracting !

Awful, by far the worst weather app in the market so I deleted without any reservations whatsoever!! Good riddance!

This used to be my favorite weather app. But the new updated version is worthless. I will be deleting it. Rip off. They took a paid-for premium app, stripped into a bs version and then say "well no longer be supporting the thing you paid for. But please use our other crappy free app ad-free for one year." Seriously? A refund is in order here. I want the app I paid for. I didnt realize it was a hidden bait and switch rental agreement.

Was better before update. Awful that TWC will essentially drop this app even though its a paid for app. Im disappointed.

Not a fan of the new version. Newer isnt always better.

Please make the OLD application available again! You have made a huge mistake. Give us the old one back!

Navigation is awful. Old version was much more intuitive.

I wanted the best weather app for my phone so I upgraded from the free weather channel app to the premium weather app. Now I get up to the minute updates at my fingertips. Plus no more annoying ads. This is by far the best weather app on my phone and iPad.

This was my all time favorite weather app, but its now cluttered and not user friendly. Apparently the developers think users are a bunch of 10 year old gamers. So disappointed...
